Library Thursday 3

This week my book is City Of Bones by Cassandra Clare. It's funny, Clary is someone you can relate to, and the plot is intriguing. 

Goodreads Summary:

When Clary Fray heads out to the Pandemonium Club in New York City, she hardly expects to witness a murder. Much less a murder commited by three teenagers covered with odd markings. This is Clary's first meeting with the Shadowhunters, warriors dedicated to ridding the earth of demons--and keeping the odd werewolves and vampires in line. I thought this book was great! And I can't wait until I get my hands on the sequel!

Library Thursday 2

 Hi! It's Ms. Fangirl! My library Thursday book this week would have to be Fairy Bad Day by Manda Ashby.  This is the summary from GR. 

While most students at Burtonwood Academy get to kill demons and goblins, fifteen-year-old Emma gets to rid the world of little annoying fairies with glittery wings and a hipster fashion sense. She was destined to be a dragon slayer, but cute and charming Curtis stole her spot. Then she sees a giant killer fairy it's invisible to everyone but her! If Emma has any chance of stopping this evil fairy, she's going to need help. Unfortunately, the only person who can help is Curtis. And now, not only has he stolen her dragon-slayer spot, but maybe her heart as well! Why does she think it's going to be a fairy bad day?

This book was so funny at times! It was decently serious most of the time with silly moments. Curtis was nice just not very realistic. I mean, he can fight things he can't even see!!!!!! That's kinda ridiculous. Emma , however , was believable. Most especially the part where she is chosen to be a fairy slayer.

Fablehaven

Can I get a what what for Fablehaven?!!? I love this series because there are fairies! JK. But there are fairies. This is the GR review.

My Thoughts: Kendra and Seth kick butt!!!!!!!! The magical creatures are interesting, Seth is naughty, Kendra is responsible, and

Hi again!!!!! Today I'll talk about the song Empire by Shakira. So, you cant really hear what Shakira is saying some of the time, and I wish she would stop saying " When the stars make love to the universe and you touch me...." Because I personally thinks she says that way too much, but other than that, I thought it was a solid

Ms. Musics review on #SELFIE

Hi!!!!! My name is Ms. Music, (The fun one *eyebrow wiggle*) and I talk about anything music!!! I post links for music videos and rate songs. (Pretty awesome, huh?) Library Thursday

I always go the Library on Thursday so I've decided that every week on Thursday I will post a review of my favorite book from last weeks library haul. This week my favorite book was Eon by Alison Goodman. 

411: 531 pgs. 

Cover: Awesome!

Summary: Eon/a is training to become a dragon eye apprentice and then hopefully a full dragon eye. The thing is, females can't be dragon eyes so she disguised herself as a boy and trained. When the day of choosing comes, everything goes fairly well until.... Dun dun duuun. Can't tell you because that would be a spoiler! She goes on a magical adventure with Dragons, Moon Shadows ( you'll find out what those are later. ) , trickery and deceit. 

My Thoughts: My first and only complaint is, where is the Backup!!!!!!!????? That whole fight and they had no ******* backup! Other than that it was great! Eona's friendship is well portrayed, as all her relationships are. The fighting and death is great. As in they thought about what they were doing. They cared !!!!!!!!! All done! Heros of Olympus

So right now I'm rereading The mark of Athena by Rick Riordan to get ready for Blood of Olympus which comes out on Oct 7 2014!!!!! I can't wait! I really love Ruck Riordan's books because his characters are so real the plot is interesting and I'm obsessed with Greek mythology. Leave a comment if you love any of these ships!
